Profile

Richard joined the firm is 2019 and his practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate transactions. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner in the Houston office of a national law firm. He assists his clients in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of real estate. His clients range in size from publicly traded companies to locally-based real estate investors and include a community college system, a national quick-service restaurant chain and several high-profile Houston-based restaurateurs.

Richard is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been named among The Best Lawyers in America – Real Estate Law by Best Lawyers (2018-2019).   In 2016, he was appointed to a 4-year term as a Council Member of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section (REPTL) of the State Bar of Texas and services as Chair of the Council’s Real Estate Legislative Affairs Committee.
